Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Jolly LLB 2’ has been facing several legal issues since its trailer release. The problems don’t seem to be ending anytime soon, as CBFC, that had earlier given a green signal to the movie, has now asked the filmmakers to replace Lucknow city’s reference from the movie.
After the petition filed by an advocate, Bombay High Court has asked the makers to make four cuts which are defamatory to the profession.
A source said, “In spoken lines referring to the city that go, ‘Lucknow kachahari mein koi cheez time pe hui hai kya?’ (Has anything in the courts of Lucknow happened on time?) and ‘Baahar Lucknow ke lawyer mujhe kya bulaate hain’ (What do lawyers outside Lucknow call me), the name of the city has been replaced by ‘Local’.”
