Thursday, 13th Nov 2014, 6:05 PM IST Patralekha made an impressive debut with the film ‘Citylights’ this year. And now, the actress has been roped in to play the lead role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next production venture. A source said, "After ‘Citylights’ where she featured alongside real-life partner Rajkummar Rao, Patralekha was waiting for something equally good to come her way. And then this film happened." The source further said that SLB thought that Patralekha would be perfect for the intense romantic drama that is set in Mumbai and Banaras. The source said, "The script has been written by Anuradha Tiwari who will make her directorial debut with this film. Currently, they are in talks with several actors for the male lead. The film will go on floors in January next year." Patralekha confirmed the news and said, "It actually feels like a dream to have got an opportunity to work under Bhansali sir's banner--that too in my second film. It's an interesting role, and is quite different from the part I played in ‘Citylights’. I am looking forward to this film."
