Thursday, 13th Nov 2014, 7:20 PM IST Few days ago, the workers on the sets of the film ‘Bajirao Mastani’ had stopped working as they had claimed that they haven’t been paid their wages. However, the issue was solved. But, once again the shooting has been stalled as the workers stopped their work due to non-payment of wages. A source said, "The issue has been going on for a long time. The light technicians and spot boys were not paid. The production team kept on delaying their payment and the workers were continuing without their wages. The Allied Mazdoor Union decided that they have had enough and launched a non-cooperation movement in the morning." However, the workers were back on the sets of the film as they were told that they will be paid their dues. "But that was not to be. So, the workers resorted to a ceasework from 7 to 9 pm. Later, the production team gave them a cheque of nearly Rs 8.5 lakh to restart the shoot," the source said. Gangeshwar Srivastav, Allied Mazdoor Union leader, confirmed the news.
