Tuesday, 18th Nov 2014, 5:54 PM IST Salman Khan is in Hyderabad for his sister Arpita’s wedding and recently a group of people protested against the superstar and were shouting “go back to Mumbai…we want justice.” This was done because of a case registered in the city last year against Salman. The people tried to march from Mughalpura to Falaknuma on Monday. However, the Mughalpura police stopped them. Inspector Yellappa said, “About 15 agitators were set to march up to the Falaknuma Police station where a complaint against Salman has been registered for hurting the sentiments of Muslims… Allah was mentioned on the dress of a model walking the ramp... The agitators demanded justice in the case, which was registered in the Falaknuma police station. We have arrested about five of the agitators out of the 15.” On Thursday, a social worker had urged the police to arrest Salman, who is facing two criminal cases in the authority of the Banjara Hills and Falaknuma police stations. Md. Fasiuddin Ayan said that a case had been registered against Salman by the Falaknuma Police over remarks he had made which had hurt the sentiments of Muslims. “The case was registered following a direction given by a local court. Still no action has been taken by police in this one year,” he said. He wanted that Salman should be arrested when he comes to the city. When Salman’s father Salim was contacted and asked about the issue, he said, “I am just boarding the flight to Hyderabad for my daughter’s wedding reception. All I can is say that I am the happiest father today. I am not aware of any agitation at all. We are all in a celebratory mood."
