Monday, 19th May 03:00 PM IST Mirchi Movies Limited, filmed entertainment arm of the Times Group is now gearing up for their second innings in the industry, After the disappointed start of the Studio and picking up wrong movies ('Hari Puttar' & 'Aloo Chaat') it seems they’ve learnt from past mistakes and making amends and fresh approach has been envisioned. The company which is headed by Ms. Preeti Sahani Ex Reliance Entertainment who was actively involved in contributing to the success of three Rs 100-crore plus films ('Singham', 'Bodyguard' and 'Don 2') besides other hits like 'Double Dhamaal' and 'Talaash'. Is now making mark the right mark in the industry and the first project that she has bagged which has caught the attention of the industry at large. The Company has picked up the world rights of the entire forthcoming slate of Excel Entertainment, which includes their two big movies. The First one that will mount the sets in coming months Is 'Bnagistaan' directed by debutant Karan Anshuman and starring Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samart. The next movie which is picked by Mirchi Movies , is 'Raees' starring Shahrukh Khan and Farhan Akhtar directed by Rahul Dholakia. 'Raees' is set to mount on 01st November. | ||
