Pluses: Funny idea, crisp writing, couple of good songs, Divyendu again impresses with honest act but he needs to improve his choice of films Minuses:
Vani Mishra needs acting course, Jackie Shroff irritates, poor editing
Critic Rating: 2/5
Business Rating: 0.5/5
Verdict:
Watch it for few hilarious moments
Detailed Analysis:
Dibyendu Sharmaa made impressive debut with 'Pyaar Ka Punchhnama' and this time he plays lead role in this romantic comedy.
Performance wise Dibyendu is good and first time in solo lead role, he depicts his range fully. He is confident and portrays role very well. Vaani Mishra has no idea of what she is doing except looking like a bimbo. Jackie Shroff sleepwalks once again in a film. Film has funny premise of story but screenplay dips big time in after initial half an hour. Film becomes predictable and finds very cliche situations which do not look funny enough. Film has couple of good songs but lead pair do not look comfortable in those typical Bollywood songs. Art department brings authentic look and editing is uneven.
Director Japinder Kaur fails to capitalize on decent written script by Manu Rishi. He never tries to dig dip and bring out the exact issue of materialism versus true love. Film released today and should release across 300 screens. Film had no chances at box office despite there is not much competition. Film will depend on exceptional word of mouth to survive as it has no great buzz or marketing awareness.
Go for this one for some laughs!
