Punjabi Film SARDAARJI Breaks All Opening Day And Weekend Records

Diljit Dosanjh starrers had done some mind boggling business in past. ''Jatt & Juliet'', ''Jatt & Juliet 2'', ''1984'' and ''Disco Singh'' all four his films were blockbusters and now his new release ''Sardaarji'' has broken all opening day records with some distance.

Film released in record number of screens and crossed 2 cr nett in Punjab itself followed by 50 lakhs nett in rest of India. Film collected 2.49 cr nett on day one which is far bigger than earlier record 1.50 cr nett of ''Jatt & Juliet 2''. Film added 1.53 cr on day one in overseas which was too good..

Film had solid 2nd day and collected 2.72 cr nett all India. Film added 2.15 cr in Punjab, Delhi/UP 49 lakhs, Rajasthan 6.25 lakhs and 1.35 lakhs in Mumbai. Film had super Sunday and collected 3.25 cr nett. This is highest ever weekend for Punjabi film.

Film has collected 8.36 cr nett over weekend and should easily cross 14 cr nett over week one and it means that it might went on to cross 15 cr nett in week one if it continues on the same speed. Film has also crossed 5 cr nett over weekend in overseas.
