MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 5 Had Terrific Weekend

This year saw dominance of Hollywood flicks at Indian box office as one biggie after another established supremacy. After superb success of ''Fast & Furious 7'', ''Jurassic World'' and ''Avengers'' now its turn of another big franchise ''Mission Impossible'' to try its luck at box office.

''Mission Impossible 5 Rogue Nation'' took a solid start on Friday and collected very good 6.20 cr nett following 1.20 cr nett in paid previews on Wednesday & Thursday. This was 5th biggest Hollywood opening in India and though it was lesser than what many would had expected but still it was way ahead than any Bollywood release this week.

Film grew on Saturday and collected 8.80 cr nett followed by very good 10.70 cr nett on Sunday. Film has total of 26.90 cr nett over weekend and it should collect 40 cr nett over week one which is a very good total. It will cross 48 cr nett total of last MI franchise in India. But it will struggle to cross 60 cr nett lifetime which is far less in comparison to what Hollywood films this year in India.
