Due to so many releases ''''Talwar'''' got limited screenings but still film managed to pull out good to decent day one. Film got exceptional reviews and managed to score good numbers in metros. Film collected 2.50 cr nett on day one in addition to 50 lakhs nett on Thursday in paid previews.

Film was not expected to grow on Saturday after holiday aided Friday. But film grew on Saturday with 2.70 cr nett total which was growth of 20%. Film again grew on Sunday by 25% and collected 3.30 cr nett. Film has total of 9 cr nett over weekend which is good total considering screen size and competition.

Film was steady on Monday and collected 1.60 cr nett which was hardly a drop from Friday if one takes holiday effect out. Film was rock solid on Tuesday with similar 1.65 cr nett number followed by 1.65 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.65 cr nett on Thursday. Film has one week total of 15.55 cr nett.

Film was expected to to be rock solid and film surprised all with 1.50 cr nett on 2nd Friday which was rock solid performance. Film grew by big 80% on 2nd Saturday and collected 2.70 cr nett followed by equally strong Sunday of 2.80 cr nett. One day cricket match affected its growth on Sunday so weekdays should be again very strong.

Film has total of 22.55 cr nett and now with steady weekdays in 2nd week can take it close to 27 cr nett. 11-12 cr nett in 2nd week looks certain and that means film will be in cinemas for weeks to come and 30 cr nett will be a huge figure. Hit!
