Tuesday, 4th May 01:00 PM IST Marathi Film SAIRAT Has Record Weekend Marathi films are doing tremendous business for last few years. ''Laibhaari'' did business in excess of 35 cr and then couple of months back Nana Patekar starrer ''Natsamrat'' broke all records with business clsoe to 40 cr. Now another Marathi film ''Sairat'' is doing monstrous numbers. Film opened to 90% occupancy overall and ran to housefull shows throughout the weekend. Film has very good word of mouth and super hit music by Ajay - Atul. Film collected big 3.60 cr on day one followed by 3.95 cr on Saturday. Film scored big Sunday with 4.55 cr number. Film collected huge 12.10 cr over weekend which is rare in Marathi films as films grow on word of mouth, not start on such pace. Film added very good 2.90 cr on Monday and now film has 4-day total of 15 cr. Film should cross 22.50-23 cr in 1st week itself and with no big Marathi release in coming weeks, it should easily cross 30 cr lifeitme and 40 cr lifetime is also possible which will be a new record.
