New Releases Tank At Box Office

It was a disappointing week, with both ‘Mirza Juuliet’ and ‘Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Dewana’ releasing and barely being able to earn.

‘Mirza Juuliet’ stars ‘Mary Kom’ and ‘NH10’ actor Darshan Kumaar with Pia Bajpai in lead role. Neither the faces nor the story could help the movie much, as it collected 17 lakhs nett on Friday, 18 lakhs nett on Saturday and 18 lakh nett on Sunday, thus totaling up to a pitiful 50 lakhs nett. Flop.

Similarly, ‘Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewaana’, in spite of featuring Akshara Haasan, Vivaan Shah and Gurmeet Choudhary, failed to earn much. It collected 15 lakhs nett on Friday, 16 lakhs nett on Saturday and 16 lakh nett on Sunday, thus totaling up to an even more disastrous 48 lakhs nett. Clear flop!

Both these movies have just added to the disappointing releases over the last few weeks.
