‘Naam Shabana’ Ctosses 36 Cr By 3rd Weekend 

The weekend before last saw the releases of ‘Naam Shabana’ and ‘Poorna’. While ‘Poorna’ is an off-beat, woman-centric film, catered with a lot of masala, starring Rahul Bose and Aditi, ‘Naam Shabana’ is an action flick strong with the star power of Akshay Kumar and now Taapsee Pannu with some critically acclaimed actors like Manoj Bajpayee and Anupam Kher.

While Taapsee is good with her performance, Akshay Kumar is attracting more audience to the theatre. The movie picked up on first day from morning to evening and more so, over the weekend.

The film earned 5.12 cr nett on its opening Friday, post which the growth has been strong as it earned 6.37 cr nett on Saturday and 7.27 cr nett on Sunday. It dropped on weekdays, earning 2.54 cr nett on Monday, 2.50 cr nett on Tuesday, 1.80 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.65 cr nett on Thursday. It dropped even further on the second weekend, collecting 1.07 cr nett on Friday, 1.88 cr nett on Saturday, 2.42 cr nett on Sunday, 0.76 cr nett on Monday, 0.69 crore nett on Tuesday, 0.53 crore nett on Wednesday and 0.46 crore nett on Thursday. 

It dipped even further on the third weekend, earning 0.26 cr nett on Friday, 0.28 cr nett on Saturday and 0.34 cr nett on Sunday. Film  added 88 lakhs nett over 3rd weekend and it will add 1.75 cr nett in 3rd week which is poor. Film has collected 35.98 cr nett till the third weekend and that's below par.
