HINDI MEDIUM Had A Strong First Week

Both new Bollywood releases opened to decent response and despite continued wave of ''Baahubali'' Sequel both the new releases done pretty good numbers.

''Hindi Medium'' got tax free status in few states and that helped it to muster 2.81 cr nett on opening day. It required huge growth over weekend in order to come out as winner and that''s what it did. Film collected 2.81 cr nett on Friday, 4.25 cr nett on Saturday and 5.50 cr nett on Sunday which was superb trend. 

Film collected more on Monday than its Friday number which is superb trend. Film collected 3.15 cr nett on Monday which was superb. Film added 3.30 cr nett on Tuesday followed by 3.10 cr nett each on Wednesday and Thursday. 

Film has a week total of 25.21 cr nett and it has a good solid hold over weekdays. It crossed 25 cr nett in the 1st week itself which means it’s a first small successful film of the year. More good numbers expected from 2nd week through word of mouth and positive response from audience.
