TUBELIGHT Turns Out To Be A Big Disappointment

Salman Khan starrer always comes with huge expectations and in last 10 years his release always met the desired result. First time Salman Khan starrer failed to ignite box office on Eid.

''Tubelight'' opened to 45% occupancy across 4300 screens in India. Film never improved drastically throughout the day and that was concern as reviews were also poor to average which is rarity for Kabir Khan.

Film collected 21.15 cr nett on Day one which is lowest number on Eid for Salman Khan. Film added 21.17 cr nett on 2nd day which was no growth and flat trend. Film further collected 22.45 cr nett on Sunday which was again flat trend. Film met with its fate and had worst Eid holiday for Salman Khan. Film collected only 19.09 cr nett on Monday. Film dropped further on Tuesday with poor 12 cr nett number. Film added 6.50 cr nett on Wednesday with huge 50% drop. Film collected 4.50 cr nett on Thursday. 

Film was equally poor in overseas with 3.5 million $ over weekend and 6 million $ (39 cr) in 1st week. 

Film has 1st week total of 106.86 cr nett which is poor.  Film collected 145 cr domestic gross and 39 cr in overseas with poor 184 cr worldwide gross. Flop!
