MOM Grows Huge Over Weekend 

Bollywood releases suffered badly at box office in last few months only exception was 'Hindi Medium'. Yesterday 'Mom' and 'Guest In London' clashed at box office. 

'Mom' was released in 1250 screens in India and 400 screens in overseas. Film started with 20% occupancy which was not bad. Film grew throughout the day and managed 2.90 cr nett on first day. Film got quite good reviews so it should manage good jumps over weekend. Film grew big in excess of 60% and collected 5.08 cr nett. Film posted big Sunday with 6.42 cr nett. 

Film has 1st weekend total of 14.40 cr nett and that is very good considering opening day. It can grow beyond weekdays and should post minimum 24-27 cr nett 1st week. It collected 6 cr plus in overseas too over weekend. Though it will face huge competition from big releases from 2nd week onwards which might hinder its lifetime biz.
