‘Machine’ Is An Epic Flop
Last weekend we saw three credible Bollywood movies releasing -‘Trapped’, ‘Machine’ and ‘Aa Gaya Hero’. The highest budget from these moviesis that of Abbas-Mustan’s ‘Machine’ and the movie has also fairly achieved thehighest collections in the first week out of the 3 movies released.
‘Machine’ launches the Bollywood career of Mustafa, AbbasBurmawalla’s son. The movie however attracts those people who like Abbas-Mustankind of cinema, which has a lot of thrill and suspense.
Mustafa might have a good launch since the movie opened to a goodweekend collection - with 60 lakhs total domestic collection, which were 50lakhs on Saturday and 65 lakhs on Sunday. It did however drop on Monday, earning 40 lakhs, Tuesday, earning 30 lakhs, Wednesday, earning 35 lakhs andfurther more on Thursday, earning 25 lakhs nett.
However, the movie has lesser chances of becoming a hit, sinceit is made on a budget of Rs. 25 cr and it has barely managed to cover 3 croreof its cost in the first week.
