"ENGLISH VINGLISH" Scores In 2nd Weekend

"English Vinglish" continued to do well in 2nd week. Though film was weak on weekdays in 1st week and that is why film was not expected to do well in 2nd weekend. But film got benefit from non performance of new releases.

Film collected 1.25 cr nett on 2nd Friday and that was only 455 drop from 1st week. Film again registered decent improvement on 2nd Saturday with collections coming at 2.90 cr nett. Film is now heading for 5.5-6 cr nett 2nd week.

Film should attain hit status by the end of its run as now it looks to cross 30 cr nett and plus healthy overseas total will make it a clear profitable venture for makers.
