"The Lunchbox" started slowly on day one and despite good buzz, film managed low numbers on day one owing to very restricted release.

Film collected 1.25 cr nett on day one followed by 2.60 cr nett on Saturday which was a jump of more than 110%. Film has collected close to 4 cr nett and now a fantastic Sunday can take it close to 7.50 cr nett weekend which will be a good result.

Film had growth across the board and even losing in Oscar race has created good buzz for the film. Didn''t we say all publicity is good publicity!
