Recently, Film workers' union protested on sets of Akshay Kumar's upcoming film 'Rustom' due to which the set designing work was stalled for two hours. The protest took place because of payment to 'wrong' workers' body.
Led by Gangeshwar Shrivastav, the workers alleged that the film's producers had wrongly made a payment of Rs 15 lakh to their namesake affiliated to the Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE). Shrivastav confirms the news, saying,confirmed the news and said, "After the production team assured us that all payment will henceforth be made to us, the work was resumed."
Few days ago, same issue had happened on the sets of Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’.
