Wednesday, 27th Jan 2016, 05:50 PM IST Sunny Leone was literally under the spotlight when she was repeatedly ridiculed for her porn past by a senior journalist on a television interview. However, she emerged out to be strong after the interview. Recently, Bollywood lyricist Prasoon Joshi was asked about this issue to which he replied that he does not respect Sunny’s profession. On the celebratory event of the 10th anniversary of ‘Rang De Basanti’, Prasoon expressed his opinion on the whole issue saying, “It's not necessary that every profession is respectable, and if it's not, it should be criticized too. A profession should in some way or the other contribute in a good way towards society. I don't respect Sunny Leone's profession at all and I wouldn't want the youth to get inspired by that profession.” “But to question her on her profession... I don't think that should be done either. If the person is a drug dealer, that's the person's personal choice. Will I disrespect the person? No! Will I insult the person publicly? No! That probably my culture doesn't allow. But at the same time, I wouldn't encourage the profession either. Certain professions don't play a constructive role in bringing up a great society, we need to criticize them as well. I think that's a free society, people have choices to make. But if the choices are not great, then we need to criticize,” he added.
