It Stars Riteish Deshmukh & Nargis Fakri in lead roles and is scheduled to release on Sep 23rd, 2016. The album starts with the perfect song to begin with ‘Bapaa’ which is an energetic song in Vishal Dadlani’s voice and is dedicated to the almighty. With perfect Banjo beats played in the background & very stylish yet classic description of Bappa by Amitabh Bhattacharya through his lyrics. Bapaa songs in Bollywood have always been special this one adds to the existing list of Bappa songs so far. Ratings: 3.5/5 Followed by the Romantic ‘Udan Choo’ sung by Hriday Gattani in his pure and innocent voice making this an extremely lovable track. Composed dreamily by Vishal – Shekhar to the well placed descriptive lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The singing is exceptional and sounds really fresh and versatile once the Lejim beats are added towards the end changing the tempo of the track to a different level of excitement & fun. Ratings: 3.5/5 ‘Rada’ the next song of the album is a modern rock song with beats of the Banjo mixed. It’s a high energy track with fast beats & really fast singing by Vishal Dadlani, Nakash Aziz, Shalmali Kholgade and Banjo beautifully synced in to maintain the Desi pan of the film. This ones a noisy one. Ratings: 2.5/5 The fourth one is ‘Pee Pa Ke’ is completely in the fun zone with the lyrics as crazy as the composition and some amazing stylish singing by Vishal Dadlani & Nakash Aziz with a mix of Rap in English, Hindi & Marathi. These ones are perfect for the single screen audience. Ratings: 2.5/5 Then there comes ‘Rehmo Karam’ a slow paced song sung by Ajay Gogavale in his raw and earthy vocals. It’s been beautifully crooned & expressed with complete excellence by the singer hat’s off to the composers as well as the lyricist. This one’s my personal favorite and the one that will touch your inner most. Ratings: 3/5 And then the last one ‘Om Ganapataye Namaha Deva’ is a perfect one to end the album with since it begins with Bappa as well. It’s a great end to a superb beginning. Sung by Nakash Aziz, Vishal Dadlani is a very westernized Aarti. Ratings: 2.5/5 The music album of ‘Banjo’ lives up completely to it’s title making this a perfect musical album. Applause to the talented composer duo Vishal- Shekhar, Ravi Jadhav Team, single lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya a rear phenomenon in today’s music scene and the singers. Banjo is an album with only male singers and that’s worth mentioning the most keeping the plot of the film in mind!!!!! Ratings: 3.5/5 Music Review By – Preeti Lopes-- |
