Akshay was interested in acquiring the rights to the movie but recently he got to know that Ajay Devgn has already acquired the rights. Says a source, “Last week Akshay heard the Raniganj Coalfield rescue mission story (1969), where 64 miners were trapped in a coal mine hundreds of feet underground, and was keen to act in it. He was in the process of acquiring the rights to the film when he learned that Ajay has already acquired the official rights for the story from JS Gill (currently based in Amritsar) who rescued his team at the Raniganj coal mines.” Let’s see how things will turn out for both of them.
