It is the directorial debut of Marathi filmmaker Ravi Jadhav. Riteish Deshmukh recently took to Twitter, and wrote, “And the shoot for BANJO begins - @NargisFakhri @meranamravi @ErosNow @LukeKennyLIVE.” Earlier, the director of the film had posted a picture of the film’s muhurat event on a social media platform, and said, “Muhurat Pooja Of my first Hindi Movie 'Banjo'.
