Sanjay Dutt’s Biopic To Release In Christmas 2017

Saturday, 26th Dec 2015, 01:05 PM IST The recent buzz states that filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s latest film, which is a biopic on actor Sanjay Dutt, will probably release on Christmas next year. In an interview, the filmmaker said, “We will begin shooting mid next year, roughly around June. So yeah, (the film will release) roughly around that time only. It will take that much time, one-one and a half years, so yes.” The lean Ranbir Kapoor, who plays the protagonist in the film, will have to beef up to essay the role of Dutt, but Hirani says they have not decided on how much weight RK will have to gain. “We haven't started work in terms of all that. We are right now at the scripting stage. Once we get into production then all those details will come in,” added Hirani.
