Sonam Kapoor Learns Tabla For Akshay Kumar’s PADMAN

Thursday, 6th April 2017, 1:07 PM IST Sonam Kapoor, who is soon going to join Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte for ‘Padman’ shooting, will be seen as a tabla player in the movie. She has been practicing playing the instrument for two months under the guidance of 28-year-old tabla player and percussionist Mukta Madan Raste. Mukta confirmed the news and said, "Sonam has been learning how to play the tabla from me." An insider was quoted saying, "As Sonam plays a tabla player in ‘Padman’, she is making time to learn the nuances of playing the instrument. Even while travelling, she takes a music book along and finds time to practise on her own. Mukta also has a small role in the film and she plays a sarangi player and trains Sonam, too." Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte play husband-wife in the movie and it is still unclear how Sonam will enter their life on screen.
