Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Baby’ is one of the best films of 2015 till date. The screenplay of the film which is directed by Neeraj Pandey, has been selected by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (the institution behind 'Oscars') to include it in the Core Collection of the Academy's library.
Talking about it, Neeraj said, "The true appreciation of content is when it appeals universally. This is a great honor for Baby and I am happy that our film has been recognized in international non-diaspora markets as well.”
Producer Bhushan Kumar said, "I am over overwhelmed that the ‘Baby’ screenplay has been selected by Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences to be a part of their collection. It feels good when people not only in India but overseas recognize and appreciate your work and use it as a source for cinema study."
Producer Shital Bhatia of Friday Filmworks, said, "We are delighted with this news. Given the fact that only a few films make it to this list every year, ‘Baby's success has only gotten sweeter".
