Friday, 11th Sept 2015, 3:35 PM IST Ravi Jadhav, who has made Marathi movies like ‘Natarang’, ‘Balak Palak’ and ‘Timepass’, is now all set to make his Bollywood directorial debut with Eros International's ‘Banjo’. Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri have been roped in to play the lead roles in the musical drama. The movie will start rolling by yearend or the beginning of 2016. ‘Banjo’ will be Riteish and Nargis’ second flick together; they are currently shooting for ‘Housefull 3’. Talking about the film, producer Krishika Lulla said, "I'm happy Riteish and Nargis have come on board. I wanted actors who would fall in love with the subject and give it their all. It's an apt part for Nargis who plays a girl from abroad who is visiting India. We will be organising some workshops closer to the time they begin shooting." When she was asked if Riteish and Nargis will be romancing in the film, she said, "Whether they fall in love or not is for the audience to find out when they watch the film." "It's all about the banjo guys. I can't reveal much at this point in time, but it's a beautiful script," added Krishika.
