Saturday, 2nd Jan 2016, 3:03 PM IST In Mangaluru, the theatres owners had decided not to screen ‘Dilwale’ after the screening of the film was disrupted on 20th Dec due to protests from Bajrang Dal and VHP activists. However, the theatres owners have decided to resume the screening of the film in their respective cinemas. Earlier, police had assured security for the screenings, but still the owners were not ready to screen the film. The re-release decision from the management came after the police department offered total security. City-based social activist Vidya Dinker had filed a complaint against the Bajrang Dal activists who forcibly stopped the screening of the Shahrukh Khan and Kajol starrer. The Co-convenor of Bajrang Dal Puneet Raj Kottari, the prime accused in the case, was arrested in this connection on December 26.
