Tuesday, 8th November 2016, 03:00 PM IST Author Samar Khan will be launching a book on Shahrukh Khan titled, ‘SRK - 25 Years Of A Life’. The book has a lot of details about the superstar and also has his directors sharing interesting scoops about King Khan. Aditya Chopra, who is known to stay away from the limelight, has shared his thoughts about him. Aditya said, “I’ve made three movies with Shah Rukh — ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, ‘Mohabbatein’ and ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’. When we cast him for ‘Darr’, to be honest, neither dad nor I really liked him. He was working on Rakesh Roshan’s ‘King Uncle’ then and we had managed to get our hands on the reel of some footage. Neither of us was very impressed but somehow, maybe because everyone kept rejecting the negative part, we ended up signing him.” He further said, “Our first shot with him was the Holi song. I think that very day itself, I knew that this man was going to be a superstar. He had a strange kind of madness in his eyes that were very exciting. I was the first assistant director on ‘Darr’.” Now you can enjoy ad-free experience by downloading India’sfirst Box Office mobile app from here –Android: http://bit.ly/BOCapsuleMobileApp and iOS: bit.ly/BOCapsuleiOSApp |
