Wednesday, 19th July 2017, 06:00 PM IST Hrithik Roshan tried a rather different zone in ‘Kaabil’ when he played a visually challenged dubbing artist out to seek revenge from powerful and influential people who killed his wife. Now, ‘Kaabil’, that was one of the first releases of the year, is all set to be remade in Hollywood. According to a credible source, Hrithik has been approached by Fox for a possible remake of his hit actioner. Sanjay Gupta, the film’s director was thus quoted saying, “It’s true that Fox, through Tomas Jegeus [president, Fox International Productions], has approached Hrithik. Even though the developments are too premature to talk about at this moment, it is an honour for the team.” Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik’s father and Kaabil’s director had this to add. “The screenplay was hard-hitting, and the drama, gripping. It would make for a wonderful Hollywood adaptation, given that it has all the necessary emotions. It struck gold at the box-office because it was about a visually-impaired lover seeking revenge.” Let’s see how things turn out for this.
