Tiger Shroff: I am handicapped without rehearsals

By Reema Chhabda - May 3, 2019 ‘Student Of The Year 2’, the second installment in the ‘Student Of The Year’ series, stars Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday in the lead roles. It is directed by Punit Malhotra and releases on May 10, 2019. Recently, Tiger was asked does if he requires rehearsals as he seems perfect in his shots. To this, the ‘Baaghi’ actor said, “I am handicapped without rehearsals. I have to rehearse. I don’t want to go on the sets with dumb expressions and everyone would know what they are doing. I obviously like to rehearsal before my shot. And in the movie, as I’m playing the sport Kabbadi, I practiced a lot to get into the body language of a Kabbadi player.” When asked about competition between the stars regarding the screen space, Tiger replied, “It might be there between Tara and Ananya, I didn’t have any (laughs). I think it was a very friendly atmosphere. The two girls being launched in this film, if I were one of the girls, I would definitely feel insecure, that this is my launch, will she shine more or I will shine. Maybe because I am that kind of a person, I am very concerned about how I will do all these but they were very cool with each other and they got along very well. So it wasn’t a problem really.” As Tiger Shroff is one of those actors who has a franchise of movies, he was asked if there any kind of pressure that he go through. The actor replied, “Baaghi is home ground for me. For ‘Student Of The Year 2’, I’m an outsider and this is Karan sir’s baby, so in that sense, I have got a lot of pressure.” ‘Student Of The Year 2’ launches two fresh faces Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday in Bollywood.
