Chitrangda Singh And Sudhir Mishra Part Ways
Director Sudhir Mishra and his muse Chitrangda Singh are not on talking terms any more.
Tuesday, 03rd June 2014, 01:00 PM IST

When director Sudhir Mishra met Chitrangda Singh in 2003 he knew he had found his muse. He then went ahead to cast her in few of his most successful films including ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’ (2003), ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’ (2011) and ‘Inkaar’ (2013).

Chitrangda has also confessed that Mishra has contributed greatly to her career with their first film together. She also said that Sudhir was the most influential person in her life.

However, now we have heard that the two are not on such good terms as before. Apparently the duo is not on talking terms with each other. The actress has decided that she needs to consider other film offers and not wait for Mishra’s much delayed project ‘Mehrunissa’, which was later titled ‘Pehle Aap Janab’. A friend of Chitrangada informed, “Chitrangada said 'No' to certain films because Mishra kept telling her that she should concentrate on ‘Pehle Aap Janab’.”

Buzz is, the plot of “Pehle Aap Janab” was meant to be heroine-centric but later it went on to being a story of two disputing friends who eventually resolve their dispute. The film is yet to go on the floor.

Incidentally, matter became worse after the actress did a song-and-dance number in Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Joker’ that was not appreciated by Sudhir. He also did not approve of her glamorous avatar in 2011 film ‘Desi Boyz’. Chitrangda’s friend added, “She could not take it any longer. Enough is enough.”
