Thursday, 12th Feb 2015, 4:16 PM IST Varun Dhawan starrer ‘Badlapur’ has been given an ‘A’ certificate by Central Board Of Film Certification in India. But, in UK the film has received PG15 certificate. Talking about ‘A’ certificate in India, director Sriram Raghavan had said, “I'm happier with a clean 'A' and no cuts. At least it's still the film I set out to make. Anyway, I wouldn't show it to any under-10 kid, but today's teenagers are mature enough to have enjoyed the film. I wish we had a mid-rating like PG12, but since we don't, I had no choice but to take the risk of them not seeing my film.” A source said that the makers wanted the film to release with PG12 in UK, but for PG12 they had to edit some scenes which they didn’t agree, “So, they have gone for a PG15 rating instead without any cuts. The same `adult' version which is releasing in India on February 20, will also travel to UK,” added the source.
