Wednesday, 27th August 02:00 PM IST Music is core element of our Hindi cinema. Films depend heavily on music in order to score at box office. There are few music directors who scored not only big with one chartbuster after another but also gained humongous popularity among masses. One such music composer is Himesh Reshammiya. Himesh has given some real big hits in 2014 in first seven months itself. First he made splash with his home production film 'The Xpose'. Every song of the film was chartbuster but 'Dard Dilon Ke' and 'Ice Cream Khaongi' were outstanding. Today 'Dard Dilon Ke' is biggest hit of the year especially in smaller towns of country. 'Ice Cream Khaongi' was big hit all over FM stations. Then came monster blockbuster 'Kick' starring Salman Khan and their golden pair rocked once again. 'Jumme Ki Raat' became highest downloaded song ever and 'Tu Hi Tu' became romantic anthem of 2014. It was Himesh who gave Salman some memorable hits in last 15 years or so. If that was not enough, 'Caller Tune' from 'Humshakals' caught mood of today's youth in big way. Himesh has Ajay Devgn starrer Prabhu Deva film 'Action Jackson' next and it seems that 2014 will be year of HR as far as music is concerned. In addition to all this, Himesh will be back in sequel of 'The Xpose' next year in May.
