''Mary Kom'' released on Friday and it had got huge release in 2900-3000 screens which is huge for a film which has lady as protagonist. Film had huge pre release buzz and reviews are fairly positive.

Film opened to good to average numbers yesterday. Film was solid in north and Mumbai though film was on lower side in central and south India. Film collected close to 8.02 cr nett on day one and that was fair total and that is what we predicted yesterday afternoon. Film was hit by poor show in single screens which was somewhat expected.

Film jumped today from morning show itself and film is looking for solid day two. Film had to translate appreciation in numbers and anything close to 10 cr nett on Saturday would had been a satisfactory result. Still film collected close to 9.20 cr nett on Saturday.

Film had taken again a superb start on Sunday and today film was further up by 10-15% . Film saw expected jump from evening onwards and that is why Sunday was big. Film collected close to 12.28 cr nett on Sunday which is again growth of 25% over Saturday.

Film has total of 29.50 cr nett plus over weekend and now film is certain to cross 45 cr nett over week one which will be fantastic result. If film can hold on weekdays then film can aim for 50 cr nett week but either ways its a huge number for such a film with niche subject.
