Thursday, 12th February 11:55 PM IST SHAMITABH Had Poor Week One After disastrous beginning of 2015 with flops ''Tevar'' and ''Khamoshiyan'', below par to average ''Baby'', below average ''Dolly Ki Doli'', disastrous ''Hawaizaada'', there is not much hope for any releases this weekend. Amitabh Bachchan starrer ''Shamitabh'' looks a niche film and will struggle at box office. ''Shamitabh'' opened to average to good reviews as expected (check our preview and review sections where we predicted the same) but that will not help film''s cause as it opened to poor occupancies. Film was somewhat better in metros but film has really poor opening across the country. Film collected 4.75 cr nett on day two which was good jump of 30% but problem was low starting point. Film again jumped on Sunday and collected 5 cr nett which took weekend total to 13.25 cr nett plus. Film was average on Monday and collected 1.85 cr nett which was drop of 55% from Friday followed by 1.50 cr nett on Tuesday, 1.35 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.20 cr nett on Thursday. Film collected 19.15 cr nett in 7 days and now film looks in real danger of getting into big flop zone with lifetime number of 22 cr nett. Film was poor in overseas market too and collected 5.45 cr there over weekend. Film will have worldwide share of 14-15 cr by end run. Flop! Below are the collections for the film -
