Pluses: Sunny Loene looks stunning in first half an hour, lavish locales, well shot, couple of good songs, Decent acting by Mohit Ahlawat Minuses:
slow and boring screenplay, regressive story idea borrowed from flops like Rajesh Khanna starrer 'Mehbooba', 'Dangerous Ishq' and 'Janam Janam', Sunny Leone can not act, direction is clueless, messy twist in plot in the end, Rahul Dev, Jas Arora and Rajneesh Duggal are too loud, Ehsaan Qureshi and Andy are irritating
Critic Rating: 1/5
Business Rating: 2/5
Verdict:
Watch it for only and only skin show (if that is your interest)
Detailed Analysis:
Sunny Leone gave super hit 'Ragini MMS 2' and now she is ready with as many as three releases in next 45 days. First one is 'Ek Paheli Leela'.
Performance wise Mohit Ahlawat is good though he looked swollen and jaded. Sunny Leone is as horrible as she was in her earlier outings as an actress though she looked glam in first half an hour. Jas Arora starts hamming where he left it a decade back in 'Chalte Chalte' or 'Dushman'. Rahul Dev and Rajnish Duggal fail to impress as well. Special mention about Andy and Ehsaan Qureshi who simply irritate with their double meaning dialogues. Film has old school premise of story and screenplay never takes off. Director, writer and producer should be questioned - why the hell you want to remake disastrous films like 'Mehbooba' and Dangerous Ishq'. Film becomes predictable and finds very cliche boring situations. Film has couple of good songs i.e. 'Dholi Taaro' remix is well shot and mixed. But then there are so many songs that one starts getting impatient in fist half itself. Camerawork is superb, editing is non existent as film could had been 15 minutes shorter and artwork is good.
Director Bobby Khan fails to make an interesting film and he is handicapped by bad story and writing. Though to be fair, he has done a decent job as director because he had privilege of half of dozen bad actors.. Film released today and should release across 1400 screens. Film has very good chances at box office as there is not much competition. Film will depend on great opening today as such films do not grow much after day one.
Go for this one if you are Sunny Leone and 'Chitrahaar' fan!
