EK PAHELI LEELA Finishes Below Par Week One

Bollywood films have disappointed and no big films made impact in last 6 months except ''PK''. This year not a single mainstream masala Bollywood film worked and now its up to skin show of Sunny Leone to break the jinx but even that failed at box office.

''Ek Paheli Leela'' opened to bad numbers of 20% and that was below expectations as it was supposed to open around 35%. Film was not expected to grow much as bad reviews were pouring in. Film never grew after 6 PM which was required and even mass centers performed poorly. Film collected 5.30 cr nett on day one.

Film was poorer on day two as it dropped by 15% due to bad reviews and genre restrictions. Film was down in mass centers and was on almost similar levels in multiplexes. Film collected 5.20 cr nett on day two and then even on Sunday film struggled to show any kind of growth as it collected almost similar number as on Friday.




Film collected 5.35 cr nett on Sunday thus taking weekend total 15.85 cr nett. Film dropped drastically on Monday and collected only 2.18 cr nett which was drop of 60%. Film collected 2.46 cr nett on Tuesday and growth came due to holiday in few parts of country. Film added 2.07 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.72 cr nett on Thursday.




Film has total of 24.28 cr nett in week one and now film is heading for 27 cr nett lifetime. Film is another disappointment despite so much promotion and skin show.
