4th Week Box Office Collection Of GABBAR IS BACK

Sunday, 31st May 11:15 AM IST GABBAR IS BACK Crosses 100 Cr Nett Worldwide Bollywood films have disappointed and no big films made impact in last 6 months except ''PK''. This year not a single mainstream masala Bollywood film worked though ''Baby'', ''Piku'', ''Badlapur'', ''NH 10'', DLKH did make mark but no big 100 cr grosser came along the way. and to make situation worse Hollywood biggies ''Fast & Furious 7'' and ''Avengers Age Of Ultron'' over-performed. Now flow of big Bollywood releases started with Akshay Kumar starrer ''Gabbar Is Back'' which has scored fairly good over week one and two. ''Gabbar Is Back'' opened in 3000 screens and this kind of release coupled with holiday on Friday means that film should cross 10 cr nett mark bare minimum. Film had very good weekend of 39.50 cr nett approx and then film performed well on weekdays too. Film collected 59.86 cr nett in week one which was better than week one figure of ''Baby''. Film managed to hold on good number of screens in week two as new release ''Piku'' was multiplex centric and ''Kuch Kuch Locha Hai'' was washout. ''Gabbar Is Back'' dropped by 75% from holiday aided Friday which is good trend. Film collected 12 cr nett over 2nd weekend which was solid trend. Film collected 19.70 cr nett in 2nd week and that is 66% drop from week one. Film had huge competition from ''Piku'' and new release ''Bombay Velvet'' in 3rd week despite that it added 70 lakhs nett on 3rd Friday and then film jumped on 3rd Saturday with collections of 90 lakhs nett. Film added 1.15 cr nett on 3rd Sunday which was again good jump. Film added 2.75 cr nett plus in 3rd weekend. Film has added 1.40 cr nett on weekdays in 3rd week. Film added 1.35 cr nett in 4th week. Film has crossed 85.10 cr nett in 28 days. Marathi film ''Timepass 2'' took away at least 5 cr nett from ''Gabbar Is Back''. Film collected 14.85 cr over week one in overseas which means film has crossed 100 cr nett worldwide and thus film is now highest grosser in 2015 though ''Tanu Weds Manu Returns'' will take over this film today.
