Wednesday, 21st October 11:55 AM IST DAGDI CHAWL Emerges Another Hit In Marathi Cinema Marathi films have done phenomenal business in last few years and it is now one of the highest growing film industries in India. Collections are soaring and awards are coming frequently. Another biggie ''Dagdi Chawl'' released on 2nd October and it scored well among audiences. Film was produced by Sangitha Ahir who also produced ''Calendar Girls'' and ''Guddu Rangeela''. Incidentally this Marathi film did better business than other two releases. ''Dagdi Chawl'' had Marathi star Ankush Chaudhary and Pooja Sawant. Film got good release all over Maharashtra. Film collected 5.75 cr nett in first week and then equally impressive 3 cr nett in 2nd week. Film has total of 8.50 cr nett in two weeks and it should finish with 11 cr nett lifetime which is fab figure. This is 2nd impressive outing by Ankush in two months after ''Double Seat'' that too in completely diverse roles. | ||
