Tuesday, 23rd August 2016,11:00 AM IST Music Composers: Sachin - Jigar Lyricists: Vayu, Raftaar, Priya Saraiya, Mayur Puri Remo D’souza’s “A Flying Jatt” is a superhero action film co written, choreographed and directed by Remo D'Souza under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures. It stars Tiger Shroff who rules over the heart of kids, Jacqueline Fernandez and professional wrestler Nathan Jones . Scheduled to release on Aug 26th, 2016. Let’s listen to the album and find out if it manages to fly high like the A Flying Jatt. The album starts with the title track ‘J-A-T-T’ sung by Raftaar, Mansheel Gujral & Tanishkaa. Is a mix of Punjabi Rap and techno beats. Has nothing great to rave about and fails to give you that crazy feeling that a Title track needs to have. The lyrics of this one have been penned down by Vayu & Raftaar and are very average ditto like the composition. Ratings: 2/5 The next one’s a romantic track ‘Toota Jo Kabhi Tara’ in Atif Aslam and Sumedha Karmahe’s voices. What’s strange is that Atif is trying to sound softer the process to sound different & more romantic but comes across like he’s trying too hard and stressing instead. Sadly the same goes for Sumedha. The Lyrics by Priya Saraiya are sweet & simple nice attempt on a wasted track. Ratings: 2.5/5 The third song of the album ‘Khair Mangda’ sung by Atif Aslam to the lyrics written by Priya Saraiya is an emotional slow song. Beautifully sung by Atif this one’s a beautiful sung and composed by Sachin- Jigar and will remind you of the song ‘Rang Teri Preet Ka’ from Remo’s ABCD 2. Ratings: 3/5 ‘Bhangda Pe’ sung Vishal Dadlani in his funky voice accompanied by Divya Kumar & Asees Kaur . This one’s a catchy track with a mix of western & Bhangda beats clubbed together. It may add to the fun while watching the film but won’t have too much of a recall value. Ratings: 2.5/5 The next song of the album is ‘Beat Pe Booty’ sung by Sachin- Jigar ,Vayu & Kanika Kapoor. So there’s some action happening in this track as compared to the rest of the tracks so far but nothing exceptionally impressive. Ratings: 3/5 The last track of the album is ‘Raj Karega Khalsa’ in Daler Mehndi & Navraj Hans’s voices. This one’s too noisy with too much screaming & less singing mixed with some dubstep music. Ratings: 2.5/5 ‘The Flying Jatt’ fails to score with its music album. Making this a regular one, one that may not be remembered for too long post its release. The Otherwise extremely talented duo Sachin – Jigar come up with an album after a while however this one has nothing special in it not even for the films TG which is the Baccha Party….The Flying Jatt Disappoints.
