BAAHUBALI Sequel Scores Highest 2nd Weekend Ever 

Some films have huge pre release expectations but then only few meet those expectations. 'Baahubali' sequel was expected to be huge but film has over performed to another level especially in Hindi market. Film has broken all possible records all over and box office history has been rewritten.

Film collected huge numbers in markets like Punjab,Delhi, UP and smaller cities all over. In Hindi, film collected outstanding 41 cr nett on day one that too on non-holiday. No other film ever in history has done more than 32 cr nett on non-holiday and no film has done 40 cr nett plus in single day only in Hindi. All records of 'Dangal' and 'Sultan' shattered in every territory by some margin in territories like Orissa, Delhi and UP. Film added huge 40.50 cr nett on 2nd day followed by 46.50 cr nett on Sunday. Film collected 128 cr nett over weekend in Hindi, 300 cr plus All India and 385 cr gross nationwide. 

Despite this, it didn't slow down on Monday and collected 40.25 cr nett which is again a record. Film passed litmus test of working day Tuesday with huge 30 cr nett followed by equally strong Wednesday of 26 cr nett. Film added 22.75 cr nett on Thursday. Film has 1st week total of 247 cr nett in Hindi, 535 cr nett all India all language and it is heading for 400 cr nett plus lifetime which is unheard of. 

Film collected huge 19.75 cr nett on 2nd Friday which is highest ever. Film collected huge 36.50 cr nett on Saturday and 34.50 cr nett on Sunday. Film crossed 80 cr nett in 2nd weekend and 125 cr nett plus in 2nd week is minimum. It will be 2nd highest grosser ever by end of 2nd week itself. Film has 10 day total of 327.75 cr nett. 

Film went berserk in south market as expected and collected approximately 55 cr in AP and Nizam, 12 cr in Karnataka, 9 cr in Kerala and 11 cr in Tamil Nadu. On opening day, the film has collected 121 cr nett plus all India and gross will be insane 170 cr plus. Film collected 91 cr nett All India on 2nd day, 91 cr nett on 3rd day, 80 cr nett on Monday, 52 cr nett on Tuesday and 44 cr nett on Wednesday. Film has 6 day total of 485 cr nett All India. Film collected 26 million $ (168 cr) in 6 days in overseas market and 32 million $ (198 cr) by end of 2nd weekend.
