DIKSHIYAOON Had Below Average Day One
Three new films released yesterday and all three new films ''Dikshaiyoon'''', ''Youngistaan'' and ''O Teri'' are of similar size and similar sort of cast. ''Dishkaiyoon'' got close to 1500 screens and due to Eros backing and presence of Sunny Deol, it got biggest release especially in single screens.
''Dikshiyaoon'' was hit hard by bad reviews and poorer word of mouth. Film was poor from morning and never really improved. Film was somewhat better in smaller centers and north. This was expected but that big screen size did not help the film.
Film collected around 1.45 cr nett on day one which was below average considering huge releases size. Film will struggle to cross 5 cr nett weekend and 8 cr nett lifetime.
Film will start losing shows form today onwards in multiplexes.
