FUKREY Remains Average On Day One
"Fukrey" was expected to do good business in north and film performed on expected lines on Day one. Film was affected at places due to issues with digital screenings and despite improved occupancy in evening film managed average total.
Film collected 2.75 cr nett on day one and north was very good especially East Punjab. Film was also affected by stiff competition from "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" and "Man Of Steel" catering to similar kind of urban and youth audience.
Film has to show remarkable improvement in next two days in order to come out with good weekend total. At the moment, Saturday is crucial as good growth means 15 cr nett weekend otherwise 11-12 cr nett will be the figure.
Other new release "Lakeer Ka Fakeer" was washout!
