PUNJAB 1984 Takes The Biggest Opening Ever In Punjabi Cinema

''Punjab 1984'' was expected to take big start at box office but not many gave it such big chance at box office. Film has broken long standing record of  highest opening day of ''Jatt & Juliet'' and that too when film had fair amount of competition from Bollywood and Hollywood films.

Film was simply humongous in Punjab and shows were full even in Delhi. Film collected 1.24 cr nett in East Punjab and 17 lakhs in rest of India. Film collected 1.41 cr nett on opening day which is 4 lakhs higher than previous best of ''Jatt & Juliet''.

Film was also very big overseas and had big release over there. Film is easily the biggest opener out of Punjabi films. Film should jump today and tomorrow which will make a huge weekend.
