JAI HO Drops Big On WeekdaysSalman Khan starrer ''Jai Ho'' was expected to create havoc at box office but film had strictly average week one with collections falling short of even 90 cr nett mark which is weekend numbers for big films in today time.
Film was good on day one overall but never improved in urban centers and multiplexes which hurt the film badly. Film had almost similar story on day two and shockingly enough film dropped overall on Saturday. But then film recovered on Sunday with big numbers.
Film had good Monday and dropped by just 40% from Friday which itself was low. But film dropped further on Tuesday by more than 12-15% thus collecting 7.30 cr nett. Film again dropped on Wednesday and managed only 5.80 cr nett which is drop of 20%. Film further added 5.50 cr nett on Thursday with a drop of 7%.
Film has collected 88.80 cr nett in 7 days and now film is heavily dependent on 2nd weekend for good lifetime number. Film will fall short of earlier Salman starrers like ''Dabangg'', ''Bodyguard'' which were released 3-4 years back in 1000 screens less.
