SINGH SAAB THE GREAT Finished Below Average Week One
''Singh Saab The Great'' expected to perform well because Sunny Deol came with hit director Anil Sharma after long time in action hero. But film failed to ignite box office and remained below average.
Film collected 15 cr nett plus over weekend and had chance if film held better on weekdays. Film managed 2.50 cr nett on Monday, 2.05 cr nett on Tuesday, 1.75 cr nett on Wednesday and 1.45 cr nett on Thursday thus taking 7 day total to 23 cr nett. Film will finish with 27 cr nett lifetime as film will lose majority of screens today due to new releases.
Film also remained poor overseas with under 3 cr figure. Film remained below average at box office mainly due to poor performance in south and west. Lack of novelty in content and not so great word of mouth cost the film dearly.
