YAARIYAN Drops On Day Two

''Yaariyan''started well on Friday and sprung surprise on day one with higher collection than fancier competitor ''Dedh Ishqiya''. Film managed good numbers and now poised for good weekend.

''Yaariyan'' dropped on day two but that was expected as film had limited appreciation. Film dropped by 20% or more almost across the board and thus collected only 5.20 cr nett taking 2 day total to 11.50 cr nett. Film should again grow marginally on Sunday and it looks to finish weekend around 17-18 cr nett.

Film had COP of 9 cr and P & A around 10 cr which means total budget of 19 cr. Film has recovered 7-9 cr from satellite and other revenues and it seems that it will do business of 30 cr minimum from here lifetime and that takes film to the hit zone for sure. It seems that we have first hit of 2014!
