EK THI DAAYAN Loses On Saturday
"Ek Thi Daayan" took not so great start yesterday despite presence of mass star Emraan Hashmi and high decibel promotion by Ekta Kapoor. Film was surprisingly below average in mass centers.
Film collected 6.25 cr nett on Friday which was decent but not very good. Film was expected to grow on Saturday and that is what happened but growth was limited due to not so massy content of the film. Absence of super hit music also cost it dearly.
Film was better today in Delhi, Mumbai and Mysore but growth was not up to the mark. Circuit like Mysore only grew by 15% and so was the case with East Punjab.
As per early estimates, film should collect 7.50 cr nett on Saturday which is a drop of 12%. Film has collected 12.00 cr nett and only a good Sunday can take it close to 22 cr nett weekend which will be still an average result.
