SHAADI KE SIDE EFFECTS Had Below Average 2nd Week
''Shaadi Ke Side Effects'' is not going anywhere in 2nd week. Film is behaving similar to what ''''Highway'''' and ''''Hasee Toh Phasee'''' did in 2nd week. Steep drop and no major jumps over weekend or during 2nd week mean a modest lifetime total.
Film had fairly average week one of 31 cr nett that too after 21 cr nett plus in weekend. Film did not match up during weekdays and now in 2nd week too, film is not looking to make much headway. Though low performance of new releases had given its chance to add few more crores to its final kitty.
Film dropped big on 2d Friday and managed only 75 lakhs. This was more due to reduction in screen size. Film jumped again on 2nd Saturday and collected 1.25 cr nett. Film added 1.40 cr nett on Sunday thus taking 2nd weekend total to 3.35 cr nett. Film further added 2 cr nett on weekdays in 2nd week.
Film has collected 35 cr nett plus in 14 days and now film is heading for 37-38 cr nett lifetime. Despite unimpressive performance of new releases, SKSE failed to score over 2nd weekend though it was 2nd choice after ''''Queen''''. Reduction of screens did hurt film badly.
